Laughable though it may seem I’m only here in someone’s dream,

Though you see me strong and tall, I’m actually not here at all.

The question is not “who am I?” it’s simpler than that, it’s “why?”

The answer should be loud and clear, because I am not really here.

In meditation you may find me creeping through your inner mind

Invading thoughts you’d never share, truth is, I’m not really there.

Could I be the voice of conscience? Or just stupid, inane nonsense?

Ponder on it…can’t you see? Grasp that I’m not even me?

“Who are you?” you say to no-one, I reply “Yourself” and so on,

Back and forth, we give and take, I’m not here, for heavens’ sake!

Can you not perceive the truth? Must I give you further proof?

No, there’s nothing you have missed, take the hint – I Don’t Exist!
