VINNY VIRUS

Young Vinny was a virus - but he hated his vocation,

he never liked to see the people ill,

he asked his Dad if he could ever change his occupation,

his Father made him take a sickness pill!

Attending school, he learned about invasion and infection,

and asked the teacher why a virus was...

"Well, after meditation and a spell of deep reflection,

I found the answer, Vinny, is: Because!"

He studied modern medicine, at night with no-one looking,

and learned of all the damage he could do,

by jumping in a bloodstream he could start a fever cooking,

and boil into a deadly Asian flu!

A science TV program showed a virus eat a muscle,

poor Vinny was so hurt to see the pain,

he started a resistance movement with a white corpuscle,

and vowed that he would never harm again.

They picketed the building where the biggest bugs were tested,

distributed to make the people crook,

Security was called and poor young Vinny was arrested,

the Judge was not impressed, and threw the book.

A stint in jail left Vinny famous, labeled quite the villain,

but still, his wish for change controlled his life

he met a girl and married her - her name was Penny Cillin,

so pleased to have an antiseptic wife!

The kids all turned out wonderful, and Vinny then retired,

they carried on the work began by Dad,

he wrote his famous book, it was biotically inspired,

it's in the stores, called: "Not All Germs are Bad!"
