STAR TRAILS

A smile obliquely forms amid the mist

to warm your starlit face with orange glow

and race across the ether to be kissed

beneath a moon that few will ever know.

A slow, electric trail - a shooting star

unveils the cosmic hue of silent night

renewing wishes - silver scimitar

fulfilling dreams of everlasting light.

The never never land comes closer still

and stands just out of reach so far away

impeaching you surrender - gaze your fill

ascend another level of today.

If Heaven's gates exist beyond the moon

insisting that we wait for angels' grace

then fate has shown me Paradise too soon:

the sarabandic smile upon your face.
