WEDDING DAY

a rondelet, which has some harsh rules to follow

They looked askance

But kept their loathing deep inside

They looked askance

We kissed then waltzed the bridal dance

They saw your tears begin to slide

A drunken groom, a poor young bride

They looked askance

They turned to leave

I puked champagne upon my suit

They turned to leave

The bridesmaid wiped some from her sleeve

I laughed and threw a piece of fruit

With comments such as “Bum” and “Brute”

They turned to leave

Our Wedding Day

Intoned the vows, a chorus line

Our Wedding Day

I farted, heard your Mother say:

“Don’t let him have another wine”

I lifted her a finger sign

Our Wedding Day

I punched the Priest

He tried to take my drink away

I punched the Priest

Your brother called me “mongrel beast”

The best man jumped into the fray

As he got down on knees to pray

I punched the Priest

I’ll rot in jail

I shall appeal this rap of course

I’ll rot in jail

The judge looked once then said, "No Bail"

Tomorrow I may feel remorse

Our wedding night, a quick divorce

I’ll rot in jail
