Billy Kidd's the
President, was voted in last year,
Once we children got
the vote we made our feelings clear;
Democrats,
republicans, they simply left us cold,
Billy was the one,
because he's only twelve years old!
We won every Senate
seat, and kids run every state,
Now it's law for ice
cream to be free on every plate;
Movie shows cost
nothing, that's the way we want things done,
We know how to run
the world: for future and for fun!
Kids outnumber
adults and tomorrow's ours, you see,
Oldies made a mess
of Earth, go look at history;
Killed the seas,
polluted air and really wrecked the land,
Now the planet's
ours it's getting better, oil is banned!
Kids don't hold a
grudge and never care for profit hikes,
Games and toys
prioritized with dolls and pets and bikes;
Television thought
it had us fooled with all its lies,
Adults never
twigged: kids see the world through different eyes.
Billy shut down
NASA, adults said he'd gone too far,
Then he used that
money to perfect the solar car;
Oil tycoons
complained of profits lost and falling shares,
Children sent a
memo: "Go and tell someone who cares!"
Now that war has
stopped, the army's cut to almost none,
Only a policeman is
allowed to own a gun;
Street gangs are
disbanded now, it's goodbye for the Mob,
No one turns to
crime cause everybody has a job!
Billy cancelled Wall
Street, and the nation gave their thanks,
Then he vetoed
lawyers and he shut down all the banks;
All were making
money for the ones who didn't need,
One thing children
never understood was adult greed.
Everybody's happy
now, (except ex-CEO's,)
Air is clearer every
day as children power grows;
Kids deserve a
future with an ocean, sky and stuff,
Listen to the
growing voice of youth: Enough's enough!
