When PC’s first came out I felt a fool,

it seemed I never got the jargon right;

I listened to the trendy kids at school,

and wondered what they meant by “killer-bite.”

Computers grew so fast it was absurd,

they shrunk in size and laptops came to be,

the world thought it was cool to be a nerd,

but “meager-bites” meant not a thing to me.

Technology and me were out of touch,

I didn’t have a clue about the net,

computers now had “giggle-bites” or such,

but somehow I just wasn’t laughing yet.

Apparently, a new word is in use,

PC’s have got so fast, it’s like a dream,

the “terror-bite” is out there on the loose,

I wonder – should I laugh or should I scream?

The sky’s the limit now in hyperspace,

I’d rather live my life a troglodyte,

than see them liquidate the human race,

by blowing up the world with “overbite.”
