Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the King's horses, And all the King's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again!
Police erected tapes around the
scene,
Forensic came and dusted it for
clues
unscrambling the "how" and "might
have been",
The Press turned up and howled
for interviews.
Deciding on a massive show of
force
the King sent all his men to
solve the crime,
all evidence was trampled under
horse,
"The Dumpty Case" was shut down
in its prime.
A cover-up, for sure, and that's
not all -
a fleet of trucks arrived that
very day,
and carted off the somewhat
suspect wall,
we watched them take the last of
it away.
An accident - or crime? No-one
can tell,
detectives souvenired the bits of
shell.
