If Christopher Robin met Homer J. Simpson

would both of them ponder creation?

There’s so much to say with two characters meeting:

one written and one animation.

Would Christopher tell of his time in the middle,

of not going up or descending?

Would Homer just hijack the whole conversation

and tell Springfield stories unending?

Could Homer relate to a tiger named Tigger?

Would Christopher pooh-pooh at Lisa?

Would Homer laugh loudly at Roo’s nomenclature

then eat a whole super-sized pizza?

Would Hefalump talk about Piglet and Eyeore?

That day up at Buckingham Palace?

Would Bart interrupt with a chalk-drawn one-liner

invoking reactions of malice?

If Christopher told of his own special prayer time

would Homer remain an agnostic?

Would tales of the tavern called Moe’s bring on chuckles

or temperance counseling caustic?

Could Homer explain why his belly is bulging

and why people find him so funny?

Could Chris hold the floor with his tales of the forest

and bears who are addicts to honey?

Would Christopher brag of his hundred wood acres?

If Bart dropped his shorts would he bite ‘em?

Would Marge hold a meeting to stop channels showing

old episodes ad infinitum?

Would Quimby and Krusty turn up as a sideshow?

Would Fat Tony bring the whole mob in?

I’m sure it’s an episode writers could dream up:

When Homer meets Christopher Robin!
