HICKORY DICKORY DOCK

a stonnet (a sonnet that tells a well-known story)

Hickory dickory dock
The mouse ran up the clock
The clock struck one
The mouse ran down
Hickory dickory dock

His name was Rahif a.k.a. "the Mouse"

well-trained in Pakistan to kill and hate,

he made the bomb inside his rented house,

and put it in a hickory dickory crate.

The crate went in the satchel on his back,

he wrote a note denouncing infidels,

then said a prayer to bless his brave attack

and walked out to the sound of chapel bells.

The troop ship came in slowly to the dock,

the wharf was packed with families and troops,

he checked his watch - exactly one o'clock,

then walked into the middle of the groups.

Before he pressed the button, he fell dead,

security had shot him in the head.
