I made the journey, from the
mount
I came in search of a dream,
I came to learn the ways of you
Offered milk but you wanted the
cream.
A simple boy from the end of the
world,
A boy with the stars in his eyes,
I came on a search for the
meaning of life
An eagle in blue, cloudless
skies.
I once heard a story, in long ago
times
Of a life in a world bold and
new,
Where the simple word LOVE was
the number one rule
And people were honest and true.
I found your world of hatred,
hatred
Lust and greed for money, money;
Life in your world's not so funny
Where's the land of milk and
honey?
Will I ever find the answer
Hatred growing like a cancer,
When will skies by sunny, sunny?
I see the greed in worried faces,
Hear the children crying,
I see the anger, war and hunger,
Hearts of people slowly dying,
Ladies caring not for beauty
Children born in deep despair,
Men in deepest, dark depression,
Where's the love that should be
there?
I made my journey, now I'm
returning
Back to the mountain I return,
Far from you on your suicide run,
I don't want to witness when all
of you burn.
