GROG (dicrostic)
This is probably a new form, using a double acrostic, up and down, and a 1,2,4,6,8,10,8,6,4,2,1 syllable format...

Grog

n e v e r

is sipped like tea

Kings will swill vintage wine

when the yen for boozing takes them

Earls discuss estates with gulp and guzzle

Manners are not tippling man's law

Each man chooses his drink

Ale     to     asti

Real men?

Grog!
