Was that you who
fluttered by
disguised as that
blue butterfly?
I feel I know the
answer all the while;
Sudden Serendipity
a sun-drenched warm
Epiphany
has left me with a
silly secret smile.
Trying hard to
concentrate
on subjects I
should contemplate
I fail and fall to
daydreams once again;
riding flying
stallions
and fighting pirate
galleons
convince myself
it’s just a case of “when”.
Blue sky to
infinity,
the Earth and me, a
trinity
lacks but one thing
to make the ring complete;
If only you could
levitate
and fly to where I
ever wait
I’d lay this magic
day down at your feet.
