Tiptoe softly, hush your whisper

Can’t you see them sporting there?

Stardust gleaming in the shadows

Don’t alarm them, have a care!

See them frolic through the flowers

Sliding down a moonbeam’s light

Riding dragonflies with laughter

Magic, playing in the night.

Pixies flitting, nymphs and sprites and

Elves play tag and ‘beg your pardon,

Every midnight in the umbra

At the bottom of my garden.
