Holy Father

Who art in Heaven

In the Vatican

Hallowed be thy name

 You changed your name

Thy Kingdom come

Your cardinals surround you

Thy will be done

And make sure your pontifical policies are done

on Earth

in the Third World

As it is in Heaven

The same as it is in the rich countries.

Give us this day our daily bread

Can we just get a crust of bread?

And forgive us our trespasses

We promise to go to confession

As we forgive those

And drop the hunt

Who trespass against us

for pedophile priests

Lead us not into temptation

Don’t make us turn Methodist

but deliver us from evil

Or get caught up in a cult

For Thine is the Kingdom

Cos you’re the most powerful guy in the world,

The Power

Tens of millions will do what you say even if they can’t afford it

And the Glory

Just because you’re the Pope

For ever and ever

Until you die of old, old age

Amen
