BANKS

To all you great big greedy banks: Well, thanks!

You've lifted up the mortgage rate? Just great!

Four billion profit not enough? Well, tough!

You'll get yours served up on a plate, just wait...

You've had to lift accounting fees? Oh, please...

What you have there is all OUR dough, you know?

"We're here to serve the customer" well, sure...

You're there because the CEO said so!

He makes ten million bucks a year - oh dear,

and rubber stamps a new fee every day - Hooray!

He touts our business like a whore, and more,

then scurries to the market straight away - to play.

The profits that they make are rude, we're screwed,

we're too dependant on them now, and how!

Our credit cards are all maxxed out - no doubt

we'll go and see them, scrape and bow - oh, wow!

I wonder when some poor old Mother's son - with gun

will walk into the bank one winter's day, and say:

"You got my soul, take this as well!" Oh Hell...

I'll never, ever go that way - I pray...
